Spiritual-BaseD Therapy
Healing at the intersection of soul and psyche.
What is Spiritual-Based Therapy?
Spiritual-based therapy is a grounded, heart-centered approach that invites your full self into the healing process: mind, body, soul, and spirit. It’s not about prescribing a specific belief system, but about honoring your connection to something deeper: intuition, meaning, purpose, or the sacred in everyday life.

Whether your spirituality is rooted in prayer, nature, tarot, meditation, astrology, manifesting, ancestral wisdom, or simply a desire to explore, this work meets you where you are. Spiritual therapy is a space to reflect, remember, and reconnect with the parts of you that long for depth, wholeness, and truth.
How it Works
Spiritual therapy at Collecting Consciousness weaves together transpersonal, existential, parts work, somatic approaches, and energy psychology, blending grounded therapeutic tools with spiritual openness and deep respect for your inner knowing.

There’s no “right” way to do this work. You don’t need to follow a particular belief system or spiritual path to be here. All that’s required is curiosity, openness, and a desire to explore what healing and meaning look like for you.
"The quality of your consciousness at this moment is what shapes the future"

Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Do I have to be spiritual or religious to do this work?
Not at all. Spiritual-based therapy isn’t about having a certain belief, it’s about making space for what feels meaningful to you. This work welcomes skeptics, seekers, and everyone in between.
Q: What kind of spiritual practices are welcome here?
All of them. Clients have brought in everything from dreams and synchronicities to tarot spreads, guided meditations, ancestral practices, prayer, and more. This is a space where your tools and rituals are respected and integrated, not pathologized.
Q: Is this the same as spiritual coaching?
No. While coaching can be directive, spiritual-based therapy is trauma-informed, clinically grounded, and rooted in the therapeutic relationship. This is deep healing work that is held with care, ethics, and evidence-based support.
Q: Can we still focus on trauma, anxiety, or other issues in this space?
Absolutely. Spiritual therapy doesn’t ignore real-life pain, it holds it with more spaciousness. We work with your emotional, physical, and energetic systems to support your full healing journey.
Q: What if I don't like it?
That’s completely okay. Therapy is a deeply personal experience, and it’s important that you feel safe and comfortable with the approach and with me as your therapist. If spiritual-based therapy doesn’t feel like the right fit, we can explore other options or I can support you in finding the best path forward. Your healing journey is yours, and I’m here to honor that every step of the way.
